  A counterfeit coupon scam has surfaced that involves manufacturers coupons that are fraudulent. The coupons, many for free products, have been downloaded from the Internet and are printed from a computer or photocopied. The coupons are received through an email attachment or website and look just like the legitimate coupons, therefore, seeming legitimate to customers. However, these coupons have absolutely no value and will not be redeemed by the manufacturers.
