Associated Food Stores Coupon Chargeback Program - Sunday, July 09, 2006

Associated Food Stores (AFS) has teamed up with American Coupon Services (ACS) and IRA, to assist in collecting chargebacks on behalf of our Coupon Redemption Program participants! For a small fee, AFS will work directly with the manufacturers to address your chargeback issues so you won't have to - it's a WIN-WIN situation!

BOUNCE BACK CHECK ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM - ADA COUNTY - Sunday, July 09, 2006

The Ada County Prosecuting Attorney's office is offering a FREE kit to retailers. This kit is designed to train merchants on how they can assist the police in decreasing the number of bad check offenses in Ada County. The program detours bad check offenders away from possible criminal prosecution. It concentrates only on bad check offenses and NOT counterfeit or stolen checks. COUNTERFEIT COUPON SCAM - Sunday, July 02, 2006

A counterfeit coupon scam has surfaced that involves manufacturers coupons that are fraudulent. The coupons, many for free products, have been downloaded from the Internet and are printed from a computer or photocopied. The coupons are received through an email attachment or website and look just like the legitimate coupons, therefore, seeming legitimate to customers. However, these coupons have absolutely no value and will not be redeemed by the manufacturers.
